Cookie policy

Last updated: May 2026

This page explains how the AISMIS Admissions portal uses cookies and similar technologies. The admissions site is anonymous — you do not need an account to apply.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the application form and security features. They cannot be switched off in our systems.

Purpose Typical name / type Duration
Anti-forgery token for form submission Session cookie set by ASP.NET Core Session
Load balancing / hosting (VPS reverse proxy) Host-dependent Session

Stripe Checkout (application fees)

When a school charges an admission fee, you are redirected to Stripe Checkout (stripe.com) to pay by card. Stripe is a separate controller; their cookies are not set by AISMIS directly.

  • Stripe may set cookies to prevent fraud, remember your locale, and process payment.
  • We do not load Stripe.js on the apply form today; payment uses a hosted Checkout redirect.
  • We store only Stripe reference IDs (checkout session and payment intent) on the application record — not card numbers.

See Stripe's Privacy Policy and cookie documentation for details.

Cookie notice on this site

On your first visit we show a short banner explaining cookies and linking to this page. Dismissing the banner stores a preference in your browser's sessionStorage for the current tab session only.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from submitting an application. For questions about how a school uses applicant data, see the privacy notice shown on the apply form or contact the school directly.
